About

My work is a vast array of multi-media from jewelry to painting, printing and sculpture.

I traveled half around the world before the age of 15 and with a diverse upbringing I gained a broader view of the world. I was born in Denver CO, moved to Alaska, Germany and then back to Alaska before settling in New York.

I worked as a Salon Owner/hair designer for more than twenty years while raising my two boys. Then, when my boys were in their teens I attended college to study the arts.

As long as I can remember creating and working with my hands is all I wanted to do. That’s why my first career was as a hair designer, it involved creativity, sculpture and the knowledge of color and technique.

Currently, I spend most of my time painting, printing and making jewelry. Once in a while I digress and learn something new.

Education…

I received a BFA in Fine jewelry and Metal Design from the American School of Craft and a Masters in Fine Art from The Rochester Institute of Technology. While at school my focus was in jewelry, sculpture, printmaking and painting.
